It will not be a remaster. They specifically stated this will be their first new game. At least a full remake but very likely a brand new game. Back in mid-'23, there was a rumour about Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 remake, which is quite unlikely. What triggered rumour was Cross' actor quickly deleting a post saying he will return to NFS.
