EDIT: Ok, so the only thing that ever touches that value is a method called "ExecuteUpgradeWorkshop ()" and that's linked to the Clan Finances view model but doesn't seem to be linked to anything in the UI. So I guess at some point they intend it to be something the player chooses to do. No idea what the level is expected to add.
Give them crossbows instead of bows (especially Ymira), bows are murderers when properly leveled up but crossbows are more effective at low levels, and good if you don't want to sink many points into powerdraw/horse-archery. 3. Give them horses, it will increase their survivability a lot. Also don't worry, leveling companions probably isn't
The same thing is true if you manage to piss off a village. NPC power levels are randomized at the beginning of the game. Interestingly, the Powerful notables (the ones where you can recruit nobles) spawn in chunks. If one village has one, the nearby villages probably have one as well. This means that if you ever find a cluster of powerful
Trade. The help window that pops up the first time you initiate a trade. Trade is a skill available to players and NPCs. Ranks in this skill reduce the difference in price between what you can purchase goods for and what you can sell goods for by 5% per rank. As a party skill, if your character has 10 ranks in Trade, you can have a maximum
Leveled up trade easily by buying goods low and selling them high - for example, buy dates in Aserai and sell them in non desert areas. Think I made it up to 75+ perk points in a short time before starting to focus on other perks afterwards. Last edited by AstroNaught ; Apr 8, 2020 @ 1:42am. #4.
Once I get clan 4 I grab a Charas or some corner town and bunker down till peace. Then store my guys, go out and level another full batch. Iโd say I make 600 legos for a full game. Unless I mess up maneuvering them, or accidentally get into a badly outnumbered fight with an army of high level guys, my troops donโt die. Maybe lose 1 or 2 in
(Remember, you don't need companions with good Trade skill for caravan leaders. It's better to send combat-oriented ones with good Tactics, Leadership, and fighting skills. Trading will level up quickly on them, quicker than combat skills on a merchant.) Further Addendum: Winter 1, 1084. 19.6k denars. 3 caravans running.
The benefit is twofold here. 1: you can get all of the coin that the village has. 2: trading this way counts towards raising your trade skill. This trading method works great, until you start getting around 160-200 (kind of a guess on my part as I didnโt realize myself until I was around 205) level in the trade skill.
It seems that best way to use companion parties is to keep them in your army 100% of the time. Which keeps them safe and levels your leadership(the only way!). So quartermaster and medicine mostly. Maybe engineering too, since non-army-leader parties can level it, they probably contribute too.
